1. Rates:
- Server Level Rate - Blizzlike.
- Profession Rate - Original. Nothing will change.
- Reputation Rate - Original. Nothing will change.
2. Realms Information (Divided):
- Balance - The Balance realm that aims purely on balancing. This means removal of racial abilities for each race, removal of legendary items, and will attempt fixing every single unbalance material Blizzard made. Such as the PvPers not having two rings and two trinkets for the latest season in PvP, while for the others they have. Making both PvP and PvE feeling equally the same when it comes to the meaning of progression. Making things balanced will also make raids and dungeons harder. Removal of racials, for example, will make the game more difficult. That is what we want.
- Legend - This realm that aims purely on a new edition and style of a game never seen before. This will feature many new armor and weapons. It will have reforging, transmogrifrication, old legendaries returning into the form of new WotLK ones for all classes, and will aim on hardcore custom content. This includes quests and many quest lines as well. Perhaps new dungeons and raids (depends on the choice of the team)? Reforging (also called thaumaturgy) allows undesired stats on gear to be exchanged for more useful stats. It allows 40% of a single secondary stat (such as critical strike, dodge, haste, hit or parry rating) or spirit to be exchanged for another secondary stat or spirit and this has come into WotLK from Cataclysm onto this realm. The problem of finding the best possible reforge of any given set of gear is an NP-complete problem.
- Menethil - This realm that will be most likely like the realm above, but won't be aimed in sense of progression much at all. The Menethil Realm is named after King Terenas Menethil the Second and will focus on bringing the role-play element of the past back to the hearts of the players. Those who have role-play in their hearts and can't pay for it in the latest expansion are allowed to go here. This place will serve as a sanctuary for them. The General, Trade, Local Defense, and Looking For Group channels will be disabled in order for the world to see as much realistic as possible. Speaking words as "WTF, WTB", or similar words will be disabled. Anyone who speaks this will get a one minute or two minute mute. Pure role-play must be featured here and nothing else that is not out of the ordinary.
3. Introduction to Our Ideas and Why:
Wrath of the Lich King was one of the most popular expansions of the World of Warcraft franchise. However, many players complained about the easier game-play within the game. Please, listen to the explanation below to know what I mean exactly.
- Vanilla WoW offered many interesting challenges. From questing, all mobs actually offering a challenge (during leveling and progression through raids or dungeons), and the difficult progression through dungeons and raids. Legendaries would take ages to get and not just through one questline. They would take questlines to do, items to collect, and raids to progress for them. Something that is not seen anymore today. Reputation was earned through quests and the final raids done within the game. No tabards were required to do this and the game was quite interesting.
- WoW: The Burning Crusade offered a currency that could be used for all PvE gear, but the dungeons and raids had attunement. Players had to defeat most dungeons to unlock heroics, while some needed specific dungeons and questlines to unlock to pass them. A large tree of doing quests, collecting reputation, and defeating dungeons to progress throughout the expansion. The points could of been used on the strongest gear, but the top gear circled around the tier set tokens back then. The justice points were used for the first gear you needed to move on in the progression. These badges dropped from all raids and dungeon heroics. Max justice points (the cap) was 150. The Reputation goals were mimic'ed from Vanilla here. However, they were changed into the best way possible. Shattar Reputation was acquired from the Eye of Eternity raid and dungeons (Because their faction focused on hunting down Kael'thas). You went into Hellfire Peninsula and acquired reputation for Thrallmar (Horde) or Honor Hold (Alliance). Why? Because their faction also focused on fighting there and you were helping their cause by lore. Warglaive of Azzinoth wasn't focused to be used a lot in PvP. Warrior carried Two-Hands for the strongest dps and Rogues were subtlety dagger wielding for the best dps, while the Warglaive was used by noobs rogues. Without good resilience or protection CDS, the rogue would die before being able to do any damage. The bow that dropped from Sunwell called "Thori'dal, the Stars Fury" didn't bring about the unbalance of PvP at all. It was the perfect expansion.
- WoW: Wrath of the Lich King had it all numbed it all down. Attunements no longer existed, the PvE currency separated into multiple parts (Becoming Emblems of Heroism, Emblems of Valor, Emblems of Conquest, Emblems of Triumph, and Emblems of Frost), and the PvP gear did not require, nearly, any Arena Points anymore. This completely made the game a lot more boring and way too easy. On top of all that, Blizzard added tabards that gave reputation once you reached friendly with the faction you chose to collect with. Entering dungeons and mindlessly slaughtering could make a player be exalted with that faction in a few days tops with the reputation tabard equipped. Without the attunements, the PvE became completely easy as well. Players would buy additional epics from the reputation quartermasters, que a few heroic dungeons (That don't require attunement at all), and win a few additional items from the dungeon itself. Normal dungeons dropped Emblem of Triumph (that could be used to purchase gear to skip at two sets of tier. So, like a noob you could skip most of it already just by doing normal dungeons). To top it all off, Emblems of Frost dropped from completing every dungeon heroic que and the Icecrown Citadel dungeons. You could get it from a raid quest satchel (5x per one), quests (2x per one), and this would already allow you to be ready for Icecrown Citadel. All the raids before would be forgotten or collecting dust. All except for Ruby Sanctum, Icecrown Citadel, and Onyxia's Lair (only because they dropped the strongest emblems). Ulduar was never forgotten because it had a legendary questline and also offered very good gear for raiding. The last thing that destroyed it was the "Vault of Archavon". If you won the area in PvP and entered the "easiest to accomplish" raid ever. Lets say you could acquire all tier parts within it through the course of at least two months (at least I did). Completely obliterated the fact of progression. However, the human racial called "Every Man for Himself" was also added in this expansion and players complained about that. Many started to roll humans and it began to be human infected mostly. It was so unfair for the factions. Subscriptions were lost, but mostly they had risen. If the expansion stayed up longer, the game surely would have been boring to all after a while. Such is what happens in most private servers, as most people roll either Vanilla or the Burning Crusade. However, the expansion did offer the greatest balance in PvP ever, but the main mistake was giving Shadowmourne. This weapon obliterated the arenas and made streamers mad (the people who advertised the servers mostly). It could be wielded by warriors, paladins, or death knights (with Death Knights and Paladins being a very strong class combination together as it is). It terribly unbalanced the 3vs3 arena, especially if a Warrior with Shadowmourne and Death Knight with Shadowmourne joined the same arena together, along with a Holy Paladin wielding "Val'anyr, Hammer of Ancient Kings". Two overpowered dps'es and a overpowered healer (if they knew what they were doing) would win arenas with no problem, whatsoever.
4. Our Plans and Ideas:
We plan to enforce the game-play and bring back the many removed old elements into the game. Elements that would make the game feel as if it's a progression expansion again and not a walk through. Elements that would balance out the expansion, but catch the eye of any player. Both new and old. Attunements, Reputation Collection without Tabards, a similar PvE points system from TBC, and much more. Our plans we had are posted below and the reasons why are featured as well.
- Reputation Tabards (Completed 100%):
Tabard of the Kirin Tor, Tabard of the Ebon Blade, and Tabard of the Argent Crusade will no longer provide reputation gained with the specific faction. The tabards will no longer be available at the Quartermasters. New Quartermasters (called Provisioners) are added for all the three factions that will sell the new styles of these tabards. These tabards will be account bound and only obtainable once reaching exalted with the specific faction of your choosing. You can send them to your alts where they will provide reputation gains from any dungeons you choose. Your main character will have to do reputation farming by doing dailies or quests, rather than farming it all in random dungeons. Your alts can easily farm it up with the account bound tabard in order to apply the arcanum that can be only used upon reaching revered with your specific faction you choose to farm. This tabard change is based on the tabard mechanic from the Burning Crusade where players could only buy the tabard at exalted. However, the BC tabards provided nothing. Here, they provide reputation for your alts and are actually considered important to purchase. They will also cost 40 Necrotic Runes to buy, which can only be bought at the far ending of the game when you reach the End Game Content only. Making it even harder to obtain.
So in steps of progression....
1. You must reach exalted with the specific faction you want the tabard from by doing quests and by doing one dungeon a day that only provides the reputation with the faction you are seeking.
2. Upon reaching exalted, the Provisioner of that faction unlocks.
3. The Provisioner will sell the tabard that has become a heirloom and that is account bound for a few Necrotic Runes (One of the strongest currency in game). It can be sent to any of your alts in order for you not needing to collect the reputation again via quests or specific dungeons.
The reputation would at least take you two - three months maximum to collect, while all in total with the Emblems could take you a couple more (depends on how long you play). Now you must wonder which dungeon will give what reputation and how. Well, look below. Perhaps this would make your time lower, or more progress?
- Dungeon Reputation (Work In Progress - Not Yet Set):
All dungeons would always give 32 reputation with the Horde Expedition or the Alliance Vanguard, thus, instantly giving rep with four factions at the same time. However, this feature will be no more for dungeon and raid attunement. Example of what dungeons will give are below. Only two dungeon samples are present. More will come later.
1. Wyrmrest Accord Reputation would be acquired from the Nexus and Oculus Dungeons. However, the mechanic by doing them would be entirely different than you think. Instead of each mob giving 32. Blue Dragonkin within would give 5 reputation, anything not dragon related within would give 2 reputation, bosses that are not dragons would give 10 reputation, and dragonkin bosses would give 15 reputation for their deaths. Last boss would give 20 reputation for it's death. The cap on Normal Difficulty would be to Honored. On Heroic difficulty, however, this would change. Blue Dragonkin within would give 6 reputation, anything not dragon related within would give 4 reputation, bosses that are not dragons would give 15 reputation, and dragonkin bosses would give 18 reputation for their deaths. Last boss would give 22 reputation for it's death. The cap on Heroic Difficulty would be to Exalted. Please, put in count all the quests that once you complete them earn you the Honored Status with the Accord. After that, three additional dailies are available.
- By lore, the Wyrmrest Accord rages war against the Blue Dragonflight for their leader, Malygos, went insane. He chose to rage war against all kind of magic wielders for he believes their magic insanity would destroy the world. Hence, it's logical why the Accord reputation would be earned here rather than the default Alliance Vanguard or Horde Expedition.
2. The Warsong Offensive (Horde) or Valiance Expedition (Alliance) would be acquired from the Azjol-Nerub. However, the mechanic by doing them would be entirely different than you think. This one contains different creatures than in the previous one mentioned above, but all of these are Scourge in Azjol-Nerub. Instead of each mob giving 32 and by race. It will go different. Strong Mobs within would give 5 reputation, anything weaker related within would give 2 reputation, bosses that are not Nerubians would give 10 reputation, and Nerubian bosses would give 15 reputation for their deaths. Last boss would give 20 reputation for it's death. The cap on Normal Difficulty would be to Honored. On Heroic difficulty, however, this would change. Strong mobs within would give 6 reputation, anything weaker related within would give 4 reputation, bosses that are not Nerubians would give 15 reputation, and Nerubian bosses would give 18 reputation for their deaths. Last boss would give 22 reputation for it's death. The cap on Heroic Difficulty would be to Exalted.
- In Ahn'Kahet: The Old Kindgom, however, this would be a different mechanic. Similar, but different. Twilight Hammer mobs within would give 5 reputation, anything Scourge related within would give 2 reputation, bosses that are Scourge would give 10 reputation, and Twilight's Hammer bosses would give 15 reputation for their deaths. Last boss would give 20 reputation for it's death. The cap on Normal Difficulty would be to Honored. On Heroic difficulty, however, this would change. Twilight Hammer mobs within would give 6 reputation, anything Scourge related within would give 4 reputation, bosses that Scourge related would give 15 reputation, and Twilight Hammer bosses would give 18 reputation for their deaths. Last boss would give 22 reputation for it's death. The cap on Heroic Difficulty would be to Exalted.
- So, you may notice how the mechanic of Nexus, Oculus, and Ahn'kahet are very similar. Both sides have two sides of different races within them. Oculus and Azjol-Nerub each have different additional features, however. Oculus has mostly pure dragonkin, while Azjol-Nerub has mostly pure Scourge creatures. Please, note that the Warsong Offensive's main operation is mainly focused in Dragonblight, Borean Tundra, Grizzly Hills, and Icecrown. The Valiance Expedition has the same exact operations within these regions as their rivals. They are pretty easy to collect via a lot of questing. More easier than the Wyrmrest Accord. With that said, the following mechanics and dungeon reputation for each dungeon is now available below. The Offensive and Expedition are the main forces pushing the Scourge in Northrend. Dragonblight is one of the main areas of Scourge operation. Hence, it's quite notable and reasonable.
3. The Hand of Vengeance (Horde) or The Explorer's League (Alliance) would be acquired from Utgarde Keep and Utgarde Pinnacle. Scourge mobs within would give 5 reputation, anything Vrykul related within would give 2 reputation, bosses that are Vrykul would give 10 reputation, and Scourge bosses would give 15 reputation for their deaths. Last boss would give 20 reputation for it's death. The cap on Normal Difficulty would be to Honored. On Heroic difficulty, however, this would change. Scourge mobs within would give 6 reputation, anything Vrykul related within would give 4 reputation, bosses that Vrykul related would give 15 reputation, and Scourge bosses would give 18 reputation for their deaths. Last boss would give 22 reputation for it's death. The cap on Heroic Difficulty would be to Exalted.
- The Explorer's League reputation is acquired through Grizzly Hills, Howling Fjord, and the Storm Peaks. The Hand of Vengeance reputation is acquired from Dragonblight and Howling Fjord. The Storm Peaks has only a few additional quests, while the Hand of Vengeance has a well balanced number with the Explorer's well in total. Both can reach Honor via quests, but consider Storm Peaks a flying zone. Either way, one side has a slight unbalance. However, it is not that serious.
4. Zandalar Tribe reputation would be acquired from Drak'tharon Keep. Scourge mobs within would give 5 reputation, anything not Scourge related within would give 2 reputation, bosses that are not Scourge related would give 10 reputation, and Scourge bosses would give 15 reputation for their deaths. Last boss would give 20 reputation for it's death. The cap on Normal Difficulty would be to Honored. On Heroic difficulty, however, this would change. Scourge mobs within would give 6 reputation, anything not Scourge related within would give 4 reputation, bosses that are not Scourge related would give 15 reputation, and Scourge bosses would give 18 reputation for their deaths. Last boss would give 22 reputation for it's death. The cap on Heroic Difficulty would be to Exalted.
- In Gundrak, it is very similar to Ahn'kahet. Troll related mobs within would give 5 reputation, anything not Troll related within would give 2 reputation, bosses that are not Troll related would give 10 reputation, and Troll related bosses would give 15 reputation for their deaths. Last boss would give 20 reputation for it's death. The cap on Normal Difficulty would be to Honored. On Heroic difficulty, however, this would change. Troll related mobs within would give 6 reputation, anything not Troll related within would give 4 reputation, bosses that are not Troll related would give 15 reputation, and Troll bosses would give 18 reputation for their deaths. Last boss would give 22 reputation for it's death. The cap on Heroic Difficulty would be to Exalted.
- An interesting note is that this faction has been actually introduced in Vanilla WoW. However, they have been situated in Northrend by lore in shock after what their brothers of Zul'drak did to their own loa and gods. They have offered many quests to battle them and also defeat them. As such, their quests will also provide reputation up to Friendly or Honored. Depending on the quests we choose to reinforce.
5. The Kirin Tor reputation would be acquired from the Violet Hold only. Dragonkin mobs within would give 6 reputation, anything not Dragonkin related within would give 4 reputation, bosses that are not Dragonkin related would give 12 reputation, and Dragonkin bosses would give 18 reputation for their deaths. Last boss would give 22 reputation for it's death. The cap on Normal Difficulty would be to Honored. On Heroic difficulty, however, this would change. Dragonkin mobs within would give 7 reputation, anything not Dragonkin related within would give 5 reputation, bosses that are not Dragonkin related would give 15 reputation, and Dragonkin bosses would give 20 reputation for their deaths. Last boss would give 25 reputation for it's death. The cap on Heroic Difficulty would be to Exalted.
- Kirin Tor has a long variety of quest chains around Northrend. Players could barely reach Honored with the Kirin Tor. Since the Violet Hold is the only dungeon that features their lore wise invasion, it would have a slight better reputation increase. Also, note that when you defend their prison riot. You are also saving the lives of many Dalaran Citizens. Should be awarded a bit more for such a big sacrifice, right?
6. The Sons of Hodir reputation would be acquired from the Halls of Stone and Halls of Lightning. Iron mobs within would give 5 reputation, anything not Iron related within would give 2 reputation, bosses that are not Iron related would give 10 reputation, and Iron bosses would give 15 reputation for their deaths. Last boss would give 20 reputation for it's death. The cap on Normal Difficulty would be to Honored. On Heroic difficulty, however, this would change. Iron mobs within would give 6 reputation, anything not Iron related within would give 4 reputation, bosses that are not Iron related would give 15 reputation, and Iron bosses would give 18 reputation for their deaths. Last boss would give 22 reputation for it's death. The cap on Heroic Difficulty would be to Exalted.
- Note that the Sons of Hodir do wage war upon the Irons, but also know their reputation starts from Hated. Before this implementation was added, there was no way to acquire reputation with the Sons of Hodir. You had to do their quest line to unlock daily quests and then farm it fairly via dailies that you unlocked. Now you have a way to acquire like that and it will be very difficult considering what it does with the Attunement.
7. The Argent Dawn (Neutral), Taunka (Horde), and the Frostborn (Alliance) reputation would be acquired from the Trial of the Champion dungeon. The defeat of each Horde Champion provides 25 reputation and the defeat of each Horde mob provides 10 reputation with the Frostborn. The defeat of each Alliance Champion provides 25 reputation and the defeat of each Alliance mob provides 10 reputation with the Taunka. The mobs during the second boss fight all give 10 reputation with the Argent Dawn, while the boss itself (Either Eadric the Pure or Argent Confessor Paletress) will provide 25 reputation with the Argent Dawn. The last boss fight encounter is the Scourge Encounter. All Scourge related mobs will provide 15 reputation with the Argent Dawn, the Taunka, and the Frostborn. The Black Knight himself (the last boss) will provide 30 reputation with the Argent Dawn, the Taunka, and the Frostborn.
- The Taunka hate the Scourge for what it is and for expelling them out of their lands, but have recently joined the Horde for vengeance. The Taunka do not know the strength or might of their allies. In the Argent Tournament, the Horde may finally show their might and what greater way to show the might of the Horde than by beating Alliance Champions? Taunka observe the tournament's first match in order to know who they will be fighting with in the Argent Tournament. When the Scourge re-appear in the third match. The Taunka are grateful to see the might of the Horde further and their new path of justice revealed to them.
- The Frostborn left a large history behind and with Thorim's betrayal at Thunderfall left their trust to no one except for their own kind. Yet, their hearts learned to accept the Alliance and their leader was revealed to be the lost dwarf, Muradin Bronzebeard, who has allied the Frostborn with the Alliance. However, the Frostborn relish strength and showed courage during the greatest battles against the Sons of Hodir in the past. They battled giants. What can the Alliance handle? Frostborn are now watching over the Argent Tournament and what greater way to show true courage than by defeating Horde Champions? When the last match appears, the Frostborn will learn of their new true enemy they will face and fight for their new leader in Icecrown Citadel. Soldiers of the Alliance will have to impress these ancient fighters.
- The Argent Dawn's main operations are held in the Plaguelands. To this day they battle off the main forces of the Scourge located there. Their battle rages through the Plaguelands and their attempts to defeat the enemies of Stratholme and Scholomance, the stronghold of Scourge operations within the Eastern Kingdoms, is getting better now with the emergence of the Argent Crusade. The Argent Dawn are apart of the Argent Crusade and no one will forget their heroic sacrifice. It was them that assembled the heroes to storm Naxxramas after the first Scourge Invasion, it was them that fought off the demons when the Dark Portal opened, and it was them that aided when the Scourge Invasion happened yet again. Many of the Argent Dawn's members do not wish to fully join the Argent Crusade yet, nor do they consider themselves worthy of it. However, they are ready to witness the lion heart of the Alliance and the honored hearts of the Horde within the Argent Tournament. They once fought by your side and now you must further prove that you are the heroes that will put an end to the Scourge. Only then will the Argent Dawn finally be able to rest and fully merge with the Argent Crusade. Although introduced in Vanilla WoW, they will return to honor the lore and to be remembered by the Argent Crusade. They are also apart of a Lich King achievement.
8. Alliance Vanguard (Alliance) and Horde Expedition (Horde) reputation would be acquired from the Forge of Souls, Pit of Saron, and Halls of Reflection dungeons. Within Forge of Souls and the Pit of Saron, all Scourge mobs give 5 reputation, while the Scourge bosses give 10. The last boss provides 20. Those that are not directly undead in Pit of Saron provide only a 2 reputation increase. On Heroic Difficulty it changes to all Scourge mobs giving 7 reputation, while the Scourge bosses give 12. The last boss provides 22. Those that are not directly undead in Pit of Saron provide only a 5 reputation increase. Halls of Reflection's Scourge mobs give 10 reputation, while the Scourge bosses give 20. The last boss provides 30.
- Reason for this choice was because Sylvanas Windrunner or Jaina Proudmoore invade these three dungeons with tons of soldiers at their backs. Naturally, it's them you are helping and it's them you are progressing with.
9. The Keepers of Time reputation would be acquired from the Culling of Stratholme. Infinite Dragonflight mobs within would give 5 reputation, anything not Infinite Dragon related within would give 2 reputation, bosses that are not Infinite Dragon related would give 10 reputation, and Infinite Dragon bosses would give 15 reputation for their deaths. Last boss would give 20 reputation for it's death. The cap on Normal Difficulty would be to Honored. On Heroic difficulty, however, this would change. Infinite Dragon mobs within would give 6 reputation, anything not Infinite Dragon related within would give 4 reputation, bosses that are not Infinite Dragon related would give 15 reputation, and Infinite Dragon bosses would give 18 reputation for their deaths. Last boss would give 22 reputation for it's death. The cap on Heroic Difficulty would be to Exalted.
- Raid Reputation (Work In Progress - Not Yet Set):
Raid reputation only existed in the Burning Crusade, mostly, and only Icecrown Citadel in the Lich King expansion. Here it will be changed to the following raids and only bosses below:
1. Malygos will provide 100 reputation (Normal Difficulty) or 150 reputation (Heroic Difficulty) with the Wyrmrest Accord.
- Wyrmrest Accord are fighting the Blue Dragonflight, as stated before. Logical reputation is logical.
2. Anub'Rekhan, Maexxna, Grobbulus will provide 50 reputation (Normal Difficulty) or 70 reputation (Heroic Difficulty) with the Argent Crusade.
3. Noth the Plaguebringer, Heigan the Unclean, Instructor Razuvious, Gothik the Harvester, and Patchwerk will provide 50 reputation (Normal Difficulty) or 70 reputation (Heroic Difficulty) with the Knights of the Ebon Blade.
4. The Four Horsemen will provide 15 reputation each (Normal Difficulty) or 23 reputation each (Heroic Difficulty) with the Argent Dawn. Thaddius and Gluth will provide 50 reputation 50 (Normal Difficulty) or 70 reputation (Heroic Difficulty) with the Argent Dawn.
Kel'Thuzad will provide 70 reputation (Normal Difficulty) or 100 reputation (Heroic Difficulty) with the Argent Dawn.
5. Saphiron and Loatheb will provide 50 reputation (Normal Difficulty) or 70 reputation (Heroic Difficulty) with the Wyrmrest Accord.
6. Gormok the Impaler, Acidmaw, Dreadscale, and Icehowl will provide 50 reputation (Normal Difficulty) or 70 reputation (Heroic Difficulty) with the Argent Dawn. Lord Jaraxxus, Fjola Lightbane, and Eydis Darkbane will provide 70 reputation (Normal Difficulty) or 100 reputation (Heroic Difficulty) with the Argent Dawn. Anub'arak (At the Trial of the Crusader, not Azjol-Nerub) will provide 100 reputation (Normal Difficulty) or 120 reputation (Heroic Difficulty) with the Argent Dawn.
- Reasons for Naxxramas Reputation is to make the players seem being rewarded for their slaughter. Saphiron is a fallen dragon the Wyrmrest Accord wants to put to rest. Loatheb is a twisted mockery of the plant kingdom’s natural ability to regenerate. Alexstrasza, the Life Binder, will wish to put him to rest. Argent Crusade hate any Scourge they encounter. Anub'Rekhan, Maexxna, Grobbulus are all Scourge. One of the most dangerous beings. The Knights of the Ebon Blade know Noth the Plaguebringer, Instructor Razuvious, Gothik the Harvester, and Patchwerk from their Death Knight starting zone experience, as will the Death Knight players. Heigan the Unclean was mentioned by Noth the Plaguebringer and hence they know about him to. Now, for vengeance, they wish to kill those who made them turn the last bastion of purified lands within the plaguelands to be plagued and what better way to exact their vengeance? Kel'Thuzad's phylactery was stolen by a member of the Argent Dawn, who betrayed them, and brought back the Arch-Lich. After everything he's done, the Argent Dawn would like to see Kel'Thuzad answer for his crimes in light's warm justice. Any who get past Kel'Thuzad Elite Guard of Four Horseman and then defeat Kel'Thuzad himself will be handsomely appreciated by the old order, but also their honor will be restored.
- Argent Crusade and Knights of the Ebon Blade reputation will be mainly focused on being farmed only within raid runs and questlines. See attunement for what they will be required for. Argent Dawn and Wyrmrest Accord will also be apart of an attunement.
- The reason for the Argent Dawn reputation is to make the players learn the past of the Argent Crusade, as well as visiting everything the Scourge was responsible for doing in the past. They may either farm so many raids or either the Plaguelands' quest or dungeons. However, also because the Argent Crusade reputation would be long risen and the attunement would be easy. Collecting reputation with the Argent Dawn will make players do something, while also allowing them to get the achievement and the title reward from it "The Argent Champion".
- Attunements (Work In Progress - Not Yet Set):
The attunements progress through various stages. Players will no longer be able to skip everything. Questlines, reputation, dungeons, and even raids will have to be completed to progress through the attunements. The Stages are featured below.

- Emblem Progression/Old and New Currencies/The Currency System (Work In Progress - 50% Completed):
Emblem progression will be different. Emblems of Heroism, Valor, and Conquest will once more make a return. Emblems of Triumph and Frost will only be later acquired through dungeons and raids. However, currency exchange and progression will also, greatly, affect the matter. Every Emblem Quartermaster will ask requirements to be unlocked, except for the ones at the beginning. How will this system work? What currencies are new and can be traded? Many, many questions can be asked at this matter. Hence, we will go on.
1. Dungeon/Raid Emblems:
The first emblems below are starting emblems and won't be locked to players. They are the beginning currency of the expansion.
- Emblems of Heroism:
Awarded for challenging the many horrors of Northrend's first dungeons (On heroic difficulty) and raids (On normal difficulty), while also hearing the Call of the Crusade (Trial of the Champion, Normal) and performing the explorations of the Vault of Archavon (On heroic difficulty).
- Emblems of Valor:
Awarded from the heroic difficulty and valor at battling the forces of Naxxramas (Heroic) and the Azure Dragonflight (Eye of Eternity Heroic), while purging the root of the Black Dragon taint from within the Obsidian Sanctum (Heroic) and also by heeding the Call of the Crusade (Trial of the Champion, Heroic). Also awarded for discovering the Secrets of Ulduar (Ulduar, Normal Difficulty)."
- Emblems of Conquest:
Awarded for the ongoing trials in the Call of the Crusade (Trial of the Crusader, Normal) and further discovering the Secrets of Ulduar (Ulduar, Heroic). This is also awarded for defending Kalimdor from the Black Dragonflight (Onyxia's Lair, Normal) and launching the first assault on the Lich King's forces within Icecrown Citadel's dungeons (Normal).
- Emblems of Triumph:
Awarded for the ongoing assault of the Lich King's forces within Icecrown Citadel's dungeons (Heroic) and in completing the Call of the Crusade's final trials (Trial of the Crusader, Heroic), while also defending the Wyrmrest Accord from the invading Twillight Dragonflight (Ruby Sanctum, Normal and Heroic) and Kalimdor from the ongoing assault of the Black Dragonflight (Onyxia's Lair, Heroic) itself.
- Emblems of Frost:
These Emblems will only drop in Icecrown Citadel's both raid difficulties.
2. New Currency Plans (Completed/Implemented 100%):
New sort of currency will be introduced that will drive players to complete tasks and actually progress through the game. Many of the currency ideas and plans was made from the positive impact of intelligent players who wanted to make the game progressive.
- Ethereal Credit (Completed/Implemented 100%):
This new currency can nearly be used anywhere. Sigils, librams, idols, and totems that were removed the game by Blizzard will be re-added into the game and if the player can't get any of these while leveling up, the Ethereal Credits will help. Ethereal Credits are also used to purchase unique transmogs, rarely for companion pets, and and other variety of items. Nearly all type of currency is exchanged to obtain it. Each exchange earns you 1x of the Credit. Common price of sold companion pets, transmogs, and other variety of goods is commonly worth x1000 Ethereal Credit. Low level relics are worth x50 Ethereal Credits. Middle ranged level relics are worth x100 Ethereal Credits, while the highest level of relics (above 60) sell for x250 Ethereal Credits. They are commonly found among vendors around Azeroth, including from the Reputation Provisioners. It will also be useful at the Curiosity Shop.
= The following currency exchanged to obtain this is below:
- 100 Honor Points, x1 Emblem of Valor, x1 Emblem of Conquest, x1 Emblem of Triumph, x1 Emblem of Frost, x1 Mark of the Illidari, x2 Spirit Shards, x2 Relic of Ulduar, x1 Glowcap, x1 Lovely Charm Bracelet, x2 Brewfest Prize Token, x2 Burning Blossom, x2 Coin of Ancestry, and x1 Winterfin Clam.
- Venture Coins (Completed/Implemented 100%):
Venture coins are obtainable by doing Daily Quests at the Venture Bay battleground within the Grizzly Hills. Please, note that players must take control of the Light House and cap the area for their own faction. If their faction controls the area, the players would be obtain 50 Venture Coins each day from quests. If not controlled, 10 Venture Coins can be obtained here everyday only. The Venture Coins sell three new exclusive transmorg items for your bankers or main characters that each cost 120 Venture Coins. They also sell Book of Glyph Mastery for 200 coins, the Northrend Scavenging book for 120 coins, and a 32 slot inscription bag for 200 coins. Obsidian Hatchling is now sold here for 50 venture coins, instead of being sold in Dalaran for 40 gold. It would take you four days to obtain at least two hundred coins, if your faction always manages to conquer the area.
- Relics of Ulduar (Completed/Implemented 100%):
Instead of selling toys for a very low price and make the vendor feel useless. The potion and enchants will stay costing the same price. However, the other prices were changed. The Iron Boot Flask costs 250 Relics of Ulduar (Now sold within the Ulduar Raid), instead of 10. A 32 slot inscription bag can now be purchased for 250 Relics of Ulduar and a Polar Bear Mount, for the same price, from any of the relic vendors. These relics can be obtained from nearly any location in the Storm Peaks, the Ulduar Dungeons and the Ulduar Raid. 250 Relics are required to raise the Sons of Hodir reputation by 520, rather than it being just 10. Each exchange gives x1 Relic of Ulduar.
= The following currency exchanged to obtain this:
- x1 Emblem of Conquest, x1 Emblem of Triumph, x1 Champion's Writ, x1 Brewfest Prize Token, x1 Love Token, x1 Winterfin Clam, x1 Coin of Ancestry, x2 Burning Blossoms, x5 Noblegarden Chocolates.
- Winterfin Clams (Completed/Implemented 100%):
This currency was commonly forgotten and unused. Although it did serve it's purpose. It didn't serve that much in terms of progression. 100 Winterfin Clams can be used to purchase a new companion pet called "Mr. Chilly". The cost of the sold items was raised, as it is very useful. Winterfin Clams can no longer be obtained in one area and if you have passed through the questline. You will find way more ways to obtain the clams. These clams will also be requirements for other Provisioners and several vendors around the world. Each exchange gives x1 Winterfin Clam.
= The following currency exchanged to obtain this:
- x1 Mark of the Illidari, x2 Spirit Shards, x2 Relic of Ulduar, x5 Noblegarden Chocolates, x1 Love Token, x100 Honor Points, x2 Burning Blossoms, x1 Coin of Ancestry, x1 Emblem of Valor, and x1 Glowcap.
- Stone Keeper's Shard (Completed/Implemented 100%):
90 of these could be obtained from daily quests, if you controlled the area. It would also drop in dungeons if you controlled the area. The big issue with this currency is that defeating Wintergrasp and winning it for your faction unlocks the quests to be both available for PvEists and PvPists. Incredibly easy to farm, but also not PvP material. This currency, however, will not be forgotten or left behind. The currency will still be useful to purchase many ideal items. All the jewelcrafting recipes, PvP gems, enchants, and even the mount will still be on sale here. However, it will no longer provide Heirlooms and new items will replace them. x325 Shards will be required to purchase a Book of Glyph Mastery, x250 Shards will be required to purchase A Guide to Northrend Cloth Scavenging, and x200 Shards will be required to purchase a 32 Slot Inscription Bag. Reputation badges that provide 520 reputation reputation with either one of the five factions "Knights of the Ebon Blade, the Sons of Hodir, Kirin Tor, Wyrmrest Accord, and the Argent Crusade" will be purchasable here for x325 Shards as well.
3. PvP System/Currency (Completed/Implemented 100%):
The system and currency of Honor Points will change. In the past, the Honor Points currency was used to already purchase some of the strongest parts of the PvP gear, while also purchasing some of the Relentless Gladiator's Gear before heading into Arenas for ratings and to further enhance their gear. Arena Points weren't used at all, but Arena Rating and Honor Points were. Nothing else could be purchased except for weak gems and old content for collection. PvP trinkets existed in Wintergrasp, but were too weak and forgotten. Due to Wintergrasp Currency requiring quests to do, people hated this area due to the fact the PvP was horrible and it did not offer a pure PvP experience. This was the only way PvPists could get their jewelcrafting recipes, PvP gems, and enchants. The latest arena season was also missing 1 PvP ring that was never designed for it, as the other arena seasoned gear had it. Most people had a PvE ring and a PvE trinket to replace the crappy screw up of Blizzard. The following changes to currencies have been applied below.
- Honor Points (Completed/Implemented 100%):
This currency will fully focus on purchasing the Relentless Gladiator's Gear. Even the removed Relentless Gladiator's Gear pieces will return. This gear must be entirely collected if you wish to begin arenas. For the best beginning of resilience protection and progression. It is considered your starting gear for PvPers and you must gather it to be prepared for the arenas. Honor Points will also sell the items that were sold within the area people hated the most in PvP, Wintergrasp. Jewelcrafting Recipes and the PvP Gems from there will be available at the Jewelcrafting Quartermaster. Additional removed BETA Burning Crusade Gems will sell from the vendor. It will never surpass the strongest gems and hence it will be available (Also, unique and soulbound. 1 can only be equipped). The Accessories Quartermaster will sell enchants (that were obtainable from the hated Wintergrasp), the Horde Battle Standard, and Honor Point Tabards (None of the PvP tabards will any longer be at the Tabard Vendors), and the War Mount Quartermaster will sell additional PvP mounts, such as the removed arena season mounts from before Lich King. It will also sell Deadly Gladiator's Frost Wyrm, the Wooly Mammoth, and the Black War Mammoth (that use to be from the hated Wintergrasp). The Alterac Valley mounts can still be purchasable with honor points. All the old Furious Gladiator's Gear may be purchased for collection for your transmog or just because you are a collector. Please remember that the both seasons of Furious Gladiator and Relentless Gladiator only sell one ring each. Resilience of both rings is useful for Arena. The Medallion of the Horde or the Alliance is also available at the vendor Relentless Gladiator's vendor. The Furious Gladiator's Weapons will be sold at the Horde Warbringer or Alliance Brigadier General. In order to further balance out the PvE and PvP rewards. PvPers will be able to buy many weapon and armor transmogs within Orgrimmar's various vendors, while also new toys will be available and pets that will be scattered all around their capital cities.
- Honor Points and Arena Rating (Completed/Implemented 100%):
This currency and rating will be used to purchase the Furious Gladiator's Tabard. The outdated Wrathful Gladiator's Rings, that are too weak and replaced, are sold at the Horde Warbringer or Alliance Brigadier General. The currency and rating will also be useful to purchase the Furious Gladiator's Frost Wyrm at the War Mount Quartermaster.
- Arena Points (Completed/Implemented 100%):
This currency will be used to purchase the first tier of the strongest PvP set. Every Wrathful Gladiator's Gear piece will be sold at the vendor. Six additional new rings and eight new additional trinkets are added for the players to choose from. Relentless Gladiator's Frost Wyrm will be sold for arena points at the War Mount Quartermaster, while the Relentless Gladiator's Tabard will be sold for arena points at the Relentless Gladiator vendor.
- Arena Points and Arena Rating (Completed/Implemented 100%):
This currency and rating will be used to purchase the Wrathful Gladiator's Armor set. The Armor Set will be purchasable for the highest rating in a 2vs2 bracket and arena points, while the strongest weapons will be purchasable with a rating in a 3vs3/5vs5 bracket and arena points. 2vs2 rating and Arena Points will also be used in order to purchase PvP Heirloom Gear, except for the chest pieces and the ring that will be purchased for a 3vs3/5vs5 rating and arena points. Both the Wrathful Gladiator's Tabard and Wrathful Gladiator's Frost Wyrm are sold for the highest amount of arena points and arena rating in a 3vs3/5vs5 bracket.
4. Heirloom/Faction Commendation Badges/Other Item Reinforcement (Completed/Implemented 100%):
Please read about the Stone Keeper Shard currency to know where the neutral faction commendation badges went and how they will be sold. All Commendation Badges and Heirlooms are heavily reinforced. Heirlooms made the game a lot easier for alts and this is something that was hated by many veterans and new players alike. Commendation Badges were used to collect reputation very quick and skipped the terms of progression, which made the game boring. Items, such as the Book of Glyph Mastery, were never farmed and people would most likely quit the game before collecting all the Inscription Recipes due to the fact it only had a world drop of 0.1%. Why do this to one profession, while the others can progress to obtain all their recipes? Unbalanced... much?
- Heirlooms (Completed/Implemented 100%):
As such, the PvE Heirlooms will only be available at the Argent Tournament for Champion's Seals and all other heirlooms that were only purchasable for the Emblems will cost Champion's Seal as well. All PvE Heirloom vendors will only sell the heirlooms for Champion's Seal and there will be no exception. PvP Heirloom costs are posted above under the Arena Points and Arena Rating information. Heirlooms will now be very hard to obtain and as such people won't be seen quite often with them. Only the extreme dedicated and insane will get these now. All depends on you, the players.
- Commendation Badges of Reputation (Completed/Implemented 100%):
The Commendation Badges will be available for x325 Stone Keeper's Shards at Wintergrasp. It will take at least three days to collect one. A whole day if you're dedicated with so many dungeon runs, rather than the old "1 Emblem Trade that could be done in a minute". However, faction commendation badges of opposing factions will still be sold at the Argent Tournament. x200 Stone Keeper Shards will be used to purchase the Horde Badges or Alliance Badges, depending on faction. Since the opposing faction reputations can be easily collected. This implementation only is meant to enforce the neutral reputation farm that is apart of the attunement and to make players feel as if they're progressing in the game. Please remember that these badges also sell at the new and reinforced Darkmoon Faire.
- Other Item Reinforcement (Completed/Implemented 100%):
Items, such as the Book of Glyph Mastery and the Guide to Northrend Cloth Scavenging, will be available for currency cost now. Many items you didn't know off will as well, but these items are mainly important for you to know. As they were forgotten before and people never wanted to farm them. PvPists would never want to, since their main focus is in battlegrounds and arenas.
- The Book of Glyph Mastery will still have a small chance of dropping, but will be farmed easier now. It will be available to be purchased for 68200 Honor Points (70k is the base cap), x325 Stone Keeper Shards (Three to Four Days of Wintergrasp Quest farming or it can be done in one day with so many dungeon farming. However, highly unlikely), or x200 Venture Coins (Four days of farming or twenty days of farming depending how good your faction does with the Venture Bay battle).
- Many pets and toys that were sold in Dalaran City will no longer be able to be purchased simply with gold. Hence, no progression to go with them. Albino Snake and Calico Cat will now be sold for 30 Necrotic Runes (Instead of 40 gold), while Toy Train Set and Blue Clockwork Robot will be sold for 40 Necrotic Runes (Instead of 150 gold or 12 gold). Ghostly Skull will be sold for x75 Emblems of Valor within Naxxramas or 2400 Honor Points and 700 Arena Points (Instead of 12 gold from Dalaran City). The Iron Boot Flask Toy (that turns you into a Iron Dwarf) will only be obtainable for x250 Relics of Ulduar (from within the Ulduar Raid) for 47400 Honor Points (while also having a personal and team rating of 1500 in Arenas). The two pets that were removed from Dalaran City were replaced by eight pets that were sold in Outland for gold and now are available at the vendor for that exact gold cost. x6 Frozen Orbs can be used to purchase 1 Necrotic Rune.
- 32 Slot Inscription Bags (that were never available in the game) and the Northrend Guide to Cloth Scavenging are now available as well for currency. The bag was added due to the fact other professions have such bags, but this one doesn't. The Guide Book was added for PvPers, most of all. But nevertheless, read above to find out what their cost is and how.
- Nearly all of the unavailable mounts, toys, and pets were added into the game. Scattered all across the world of Azeroth from various reputation factions or currency cost vendors. Players are now able to find these extra mounts and pets, rather than finding it on the donation shop like on every server. This also includes an upgrade for Holiday vendors, that will feature new quests in acquiring some very cool items, such as toys that were also removed the game.
- New Edition of Vendors/Reward Reinforcement/Features/Locations:
Many new editions of craft will be here and many that will aim to make your game more memorable. Your time well spent and enjoyed. The joy of game-play found her even better. Let us begin.
1. Reputation Provisioners (Completed/Implemented 100%):
The Reputation Provisioners are the new style of Quartermasters available for the game. These Quartermasters are only available upon reaching exalted status with the faction of your choosing. Provisioners provide the new edition of tabards that are account bound, but also fascinating items sold for currency for both PvErs and PvPers. Their title will appear in the following examples: "<Kirin Tor Provisioner>, <Ebon Blade Provisioner>". Provisioners are added for both the new and forgotten factions of World of Warcraft. These Provisioners sell unique transmogs, companion pets, tabards, or the account bound reputation tabards. Please know not all the faction sell tabards or mounts. Only the chosen few. Reputation Provisioners that can be unlocked are posted below:
- Sasha Goens, the <Kirin Tor Provisioner>, is located at the Underbelly of Dalaran City where the Wrathful Gladiator's vendors once were.
- Sunwalker Aaron, the <Argent Crusade Provisioner>is located at the northern location of the Argent Tournament grounds not far from the Ebon Blade Encampment.
- Lord Nixxiom, the <Wyrmrest Accord Provisioner>, is located at the middle floor of the Wyrmrest Temple that can be reached with a flying mount or the red dragon service.
- Quartermaster Ozorg, the <Ebon Blade Provisioner>, is located underneath Acherus: The Ebon Hold at the new Death's Breach encampment.
- Syndicate Master Ryson, the <Syndicate Provisioner, is located on the top floor east balcony of Stromgarde Keep overlooking his Syndicate.
- Kokorek, the <Bloodsail Provisioner>, is located at the Bloodsail Compound in the Cape of Stranglethorn.
- Conqueror Shodo, the <Gelkis Clan Provisioner>, is located at the Bolgan's Hole Cave in the Desolace.
- Conqueror Kammah, the <Magram Clan Provisioner>, is located at the Kolkar Village in the Desolace.
- Aqua, the <Hydraxian Provisioner>, is located at Azshara where Lord Hydraxis can be found.
2. Money Exchangers (Completed/Implemented 100%):
Money Exchangers existed simply to exchange Emblems into lower ones. Such as Emblem of Frost > Emblem of Triumph > Emblem of Conquest > Emblem of Valor > Emblem of Heroism. Now, there are two types of Money Exchangers. Raid and Ordinary Exchangers.
- Raid Money Exchangers (Completed/Implemented 100%):
These money exchangers are located within the raids themselves. They trade the following currency lesser currencies into higher ones. 100 Emblems of Heroism FOR 1 Emblem of Valor, 60 Emblems of Valor FOR 1 Emblem of Conquest, 58 Emblems of Conquest FOR 1 Emblem of Triumph, and 50 Emblems of Triumph For 1 Emblem of Frost. The Heroism to Valor exchanger is found within Naxxramas. The Valor to Conquest is found within Ulduar. The Conquest to Triumph is found within Onyxia's Lair. The Triumph to Frost is found within Icecrown Citadel.
- Ordinary Money Exchangers (Completed/Implemented 100%):
These money exchangers are located within Capital Cities. They exchange any currency from the Burning Crusade, honor points, and emblems currency into the Lich King currency. They can only be turned into Winterfin Clams, Relics of Ulduar, Ethereal Credits, or similar currency. Currency, such as the Venture Coins or Stone Keeper Shards, does not count in this exchange. Players may trade Lich King currencies by swapping places. 1 Winterfin Clam for 1 Relics of Ulduar, example.
3. Area Changes/New Areas/Moved Folk (Completed/Implemented 100%):
- Capital Cities (Orgrimmar and Stormwind) were reinforced with new additional areas and edits of old ones. Both capital cities were remapped in a new realistic style and without destroying that old Nostalgic feeling. Stormwind Keep and Grommash Hold have become the PvE Hubs, while the old PvP Halls now contain the latest content for the Lich King expansion. New inns, banks, auction houses, profession trainers, and even class trainers are featured around the capital cities' vast areas. Collision bugs were fixed as well. There are hidden secrets, trivia to known machinima artists and staff members, as well as famous servers. Most of the vast annoying Blizzard bugs were dealt with and fixed. Players may train the latest profession skills from their main Capital Cities instead of going to Dalaran and their latest progressing gear may be obtained from here. Transmogrification has been added within the cities and new shops, as well as Money Exchangers. Orgrimmar's front farms, empty zeppelin towers, and large battle ring have been decorated. They are considered apart of Orgrimmar City now. To see the rest of decorations visit the "Recent Fixes/Changes" part of our forum.
- Dalaran City has been reduced, but still not forgotten. Most of it's vendors were reinforced with new types of currency, but the main PvE Hall and items have all moved out to the main Capital Cities of both the Horde and the Alliance. Dalaran City will no longer sell the strongest PvE Gear available for emblems, but only gear available with the tier token pieces players may obtain in raids. The PvP Hall at the Underbelly is no longer there, but players are still able to duel below. The PvP Vendors have moved out to the main Capital Cities as well, but a few others have moved to Area 52. The PvP Water Vendors have moved out, but a few have remained within the City of Dalaran's various locations. The Heirloom Vendors and Relic Vendors have been reinforced. Two secluded locations for Moon Wells are added and the old PvE Halls have turned into a relaxation zone with their own very barkeep and various decorations. All signs and flags in Dalaran City now have collision. The "Tanks for Everything" shop now has it's own sign. The Toy Shop sells the Toy Train Set and the Blue Clockwork Robot for currency, as does the pet shop sell their Albino Snake and Calico Cat for currency. The Kirin Tor Quartermaster has been moved to the Underbelly at the location where the PvP vendors once stood, while the Kirin Tor Provisioner is right beside him.
- Death's Breach was a forgotten Death Knight location that was left empty with the other areas of the Ruins of the Enclave. New tents were added, vendors, guards, initiates, skeletal gryphons, and more. Quartermaster Ozorg is moved here to provide Ebon Blade Provision. Low level players may visit this safe haven within the Plaguelands. No longer will the Argent Dawn Outposts and Light's Hope Chapel be the only areas that are safe havens within the Eastern Plaguelands. Players may set their hearthstone here, sell and buy items, repair their gear, use the forges, use the anvils, buy reagent supplies, buy profession supplies, and Death Knights may use their runeforges. To see the rest of decorations visit the "Recent Fixes/Changes" part of our forum.
- Acherus: The Ebon Hold has received a remap. It contains new additional vendors, gear merchants, signs, an Ebon Blade Quartermaster, runeforges, and a whole new entire floor. Death Knights are able to re-do their "Noth's Special Brew" quest from the Cauldron spawned on the balcony. The new floor contains new profession supplies vendors and in case they want to buy back their "Blue-Starting" Gear, they may buy it as well from Dread Commander Thalanor who has moved in on this new floor. They may also buy the "Tabard of the Ebon Blade" that does not require Exalted unlike the original one from the Provisioner as a bonus. Corpulous, the Meat Vendor, has moved into the new floor. A whole new Emporium has been added that contains a Banker and an Auctioneer. There is an elevator on the second floor to reach this new second floor. The bottom floor contains two additional Runeforges that can be used and the rest is upgraded appearance decoration that is posted under the "Recent Fixes/Changes" part of our forum.
- All of the nostalgic zones around Azeroth were revisited, their vendors upgraded, and remastered. Every building received an update, new creatures within, or outside decorations. None of these areas have changed via quest relations or content relations. Every quest is the same and where everything was. Only updates were made for vendors and for the game-play to feel more nostalgic, harder.
4. Reward Reinforcement (Work In Progress - 50% Done):
Many rewards that existed before will be changed. Quest rewards, satchel rewards, and dungeon rewards will change.
- Quest Changes:
The following quests: "Anub'Rekhan Must Die!, Instructor Razuvious Must Die!, Noth the Plaguebringer Must Die!, Patchwerk Must Die!, Sartharion Must Die!, and Malygos Must Die!" will each reward x1 Emblem of Heroism. The following quests: "Flame Leviathan Must Die!, Ignis the Furnace Master Must Die!, Razorscale Must Die!, and XT-002 Deconstructor Must Die!" will each reward x1 Emblem of Valor and x1 Emblem of Conquest. The following quest " Lord Jaraxxus Must Die!" will reward x2 Emblem of Conquest.
- Sack of Frosty Treasures (A.k.a. Satchel of Frosty Treasures):
The Sack of Frosty Treasures is provided from Icecrown Citadel quests.. It will have a very small percent chance to provide the following items: "2 Emblems of Frost, Epic Jewelcrafting Gem Mats (Cardinal Ruby, King's Amber, Majestic Zircon, Dreadstone, Ametrine, or Eye of Zul)". It will have a medium percent chance to provide the following items: "x2 Paint Bomb, x2 Party G.R.E.N.A.D.E., x2 Path of Cenarius, or x2 Path of Illidan". It will always provide the following item: "x2 Emblems of Heroism".
5. Dungeon Finder Removal (Featured on the Main Blizzlike Realm Only - Not Implemented Yet, but Will Be):
THIS is a difficult decision that wasn't made by the whole staff. It is unsure if it will be featured on all realms, but it will surely be featured on the "Balance Realm". Now you may wonder what is the problem with dungeon finder? You might be telling yourself it's a stupid idea, but... I completely disagree. For what reasons, you may ask? Well, for these very reasons I will state below.
- Every Dungeon Finder Que Up gives you an x2 Emblem of Frost (Daily Lich King Heroic), x2 Emblem of Triumph (Every Dungeon Heroic), and x1 Emblem of Triumph (Normal Dungeon Daily Que Up).
- Que-ing for a Dungeon and simply appearing into it isn't interesting. Usually, none of you speak. Usual people in Que Up tend to be noobs or simply people who are rude when it comes to game-play. They quit for no reason or simply have no idea how to play. On some servers, they come naked in the damn Que Up. What the hell?! All they joined for is for that lousy emblem.
- Fast forwarding through all dungeons makes you become bored very quick. Destroys the meaning of progression.
- It destroys the main aspect that makes an MMORPG VITAL. It destroys COMMUNITY. No one talks in the Finder, no one is looking for group anymore in LFG Chat, and no one is able to communicate. Either to make friends or to have a good time. To make you feel as if you achieved something with the group you formed and would eventually make friends. Perhaps, even make a PvE and Raiding Guild because you connected from that dungeon? That won't be seen in dungeon finder!
- To this day, in nearly every World of Warcraft expansion, players hate this implementation and there have been famous World of Warcraft youtubists commenting about how much they hate it. Many topics on other forums, even Blizzard sites. If Blizzard won't listen to their fans. We will do them the favor and show them how big their mistake is that they implemented that crap.
= In conclusion, I personally wish to see it removed. I want this server that has a large aspect mainly focused on progression and community. Both of these things make a great MMORPG. Why I am deciding this is because of the reasons above. I will not have it stay at the beginning either. Because... if you remove it later. It's as if it's a slap in the face to the players. As the leader of the Balance Realm, the Dungeon Finder will surely not be featured on that realm. Thank you.
6. Language/Mail/Auction Restriction Removed (Not Implemented Yet, but Will Be):
- Alliance and Horde members will be able to understand each other. This means they will be able to communicate with one another. Languages won't be restricted. This will bring the community closer, but also bring friendship even with your enemies. It will also inspire role-playing. It really doesn't bring anything negative.
- Mailbox restriction will be removed. Horde will be able to send mail to the Alliance. Alliance will be able to send mail to the Horde. It will also inspired to bring the community closer, bring friendship even with your enemies, and also inspire role-play.
- Auction Houses won't be restricted by faction. Both factions will now be able to auction and sell items to one another.
7. EXTRA BONUS CONTENT - END GAME CONTENT (Work in Progress - 45% Completed):
- Necrotic Runes:
This currency will be a required for transmogs. They will only be available from Mount Hyjal after you unlock it after unlocking Icecrown Citadel or get a very good rating in 3vs3 or 5vs5 arena.
= The following Transmorg Cost for each piece of your gear wear you want to wear will cost the following:
- Each piece to transmorg will cost 20x Necrotic Runes.
- Attunement of Azshara Crater:
- Azshara Crater will not be available in the game from the beginning. The player that joins will have to complete the whole game from two perspectives: The PvP or the PvE perspective. The following steps on how to complete the attunement are the following.
Step 1. - PvE players will have to unlock the Heroic version of Icecrown Citadel in order to find a vendor within. This vendor will provide an item for 95 Emblems of Frost that will enable a quest for them. Players, who specialize in PvP, will have to get the best rating in a 3vs3 or 5vs5 arena in order to purchase the item for a high rating and arena points requirement from their PvP Hall vendors. Upon receiving the item, step two begins.
Step 2. - The quest item will give the players another attunement quest that will require them to visit two high elves in Azshara known as "Rayan Dawnrisen" and "Joy Ar'nareth". The elves will mention how they have studied the sacred Forlorn Ridge and how something is amiss, as they feel the earth of Hyjal crying out for help and Azshara Crater has something to do with it. They realize it's engulfed in dark magic, much like Hyjal is now, and they send the players on a task in killing the four vanilla dragon bosses around the world of Azeroth. These are heavily known as "The Dragons of Nightmare". Solo-able and do-able alone, however, some extra tricks will be added to make this more difficult. Upon killing the dragons, the players must return back to the High Elves at the tower.
The Final Step - The High Elves will then say that the earth rests silent, perhaps too silent to their expectations, as if it feels dead. They will provide you with something that they had never entrusted with other mortals and something they had promised the Wyrmrest Accord that they would never give to anyone. Revealing that they are dragons in disguise, they will give you a blessing that would allow you to pass the enchanted barriers into the Lost Woods of Azshara Crater. They will ask you to meet them on the other side, as they can fully trusts you now. Going to the very gates of Azshara Crater at the Forlorn Ridge, portals there will be ready for you to cross through now and provide you entry. If you are Horde, you will be teleported to Camp Ataya, a tauren encampment. If you're Alliance, you will be teleported to Silverwing Hold, a night elven settlement.
- The Unlocked Azshara Crater:
Azshara Crater will then be available to players. Summoning others to avoid this attunement won't work, as the quests will be naturally disabled until the attunements are completed. They will be needed to be done first to start the inner quests. Players will then learn the horrible events that transpired. For many years, Hyjal had healed and so has Azshara Crater. The Watchers of Hyjal lived in peaceful harmony, until Malygos himself waged war against all magic users. What was the grand blessing of the dragonflights? The blessed world tree Nordrassil and the well. Malygos himself appears to destroy the upper region just before the world tree and his glorious triumph is left in the shape of a crater within Hyjal. His dragonflight opening portals across Hyjals most popular areas that will result in an invasion. However, he had also visited the highest peaks of Forlorn Ridge and assaulted Azshara Crater, forever damning those who lived there. He had cast such an immense magical spell that not only annihilated the living within the region, but also put their spirits in world of sleep that they are never bound to escape from. Within Azshara Crater, the players will enter a world commonly referred to as the "Lost Woods", as the region itself was destroyed long ago by the blue dragon aspect. The Horde of Camp Ataya and the Alliance of Silverwing Hold forever clash within this world, as Satyrs, Worming Harpies, and Furbolgs have entered into a crazed stage of madness. Malygos himself has sent his own minions to guard the ancient dragon gates, as a secret lies beyond them that he doesn't wish for anyone to find.
- Azshara Crater will be a level 87 Elite Mob zone, which every mob will be very hard to take down. You have to have very good skills to do this solo. Remember, this is unlocked after the ICC or high PvP gear is required. This is why it's bonus content.
- Many daily quests will provide Necrotic Runes here. x20 Necrotic Runes are required in order to transmogrify one single item. The quests will provide 1 chest each that will give you several items, having a 40% chance to provide you x1 Necrotic Rune from it's loot table.
- Necrotic Runes are used for many Azshara Crater/Lost Woods vendors. Used to acquire world wide pets and mounts, while many rewards will also be purchasable in Azshara Crater. When unlocking Reputation Provisioners, players will need x40 Necrotic Runes in order to purchase the tabard to send to their alts. It will also be used for other variety of transmog purchases and heavy junkboxes (For the Ravenholdt Reputation aid).
- Necrotic Runes can hardly be obtained during Holidays with the Holiday currencies. The highest cost of each currency will be required to be traded in for x1 Necrotic Rune. Azshara Crater will help you a lot. The Holidays will only get you to know how it feels to at least have a few. The Darkmoon Faire will trade x1 Primordial Saronite for x1 Necrotic Rune (Which is acquired only from ICC). x8 is the lowest currency requirement from the vendors, but none of these will offer a special pet or mount for that price, or similar item that lasts forever.
= Reason for this Implementation:
While transmogrifrication has been favorable by many and disliked by others. The reasons for people disliking them is because people carry this transmog from the very beginning and onward. Transmog wasn't earned like gear. After a long time of farming gear, people would walk around and many would look at them in awe waiting for one day to get the gear they have. Your gear you got from raids or dungeons was like a badge you carried on your chest every time. It would make people want that badge. No matter if you're noob or not, transmogrifrication could make you have cool looking gear, no matter what level. A plan was made in order to feel as if you truly earned the transmog and had to pay somewhat a close and similar deal of pain like the raiders. No one will carry transmogs until they are a high geared and unlock Azshara Crater. Other than that, no way to transmogrify.
